According to Ancient Greek mythology and legends in the Greek Creation Myth the gods of ancient Greece consisted of three major dynasties of different generations that provide details of the Greek Gods Genealogy:

  • The generation of the Olympians, led by Zeus

Each generation ousted the older gods. The 12 Olympians achieved their supremacy over the older primordial gods and Titans when they were victorious in the Battle of the Titans.
